Garden Design in Lincoln
Creative garden design and quality landscaping for homes across Lincoln and Lincolnshire.
We travel from Sutterton to offer considered garden design and landscaping for Lincoln homeowners. Christopher Kent holds an FdSc in Horticulture and Garden Design and has more than fifteen years of hands-on experience, allowing each plan to balance the look of the garden with drainage, access, levels and practical construction.
A design may bring together patios, paths, outdoor living areas, lawns, borders, fencing, pergolas, retaining features and wildlife-friendly planting. Small courtyards and larger family plots need different solutions, but both benefit from clear routes, useful proportions and materials that complement the house. Where a site changes level, steps, retaining work and terracing can be assessed as part of the whole layout.
The process starts with a pre-arranged visit from our Sutterton base. We listen to what works and what does not, inspect the site and agree whether a concept, planting plan or complete design-and-build service is most suitable. A clear written quote follows. During construction, preparation and drainage are completed before paving and structures, followed by soil improvement and planting.
Costs depend on garden size, access, excavation, levels, drainage, materials and planting. A new patio may start in the low thousands, but a full redesign needs an individual specification. Natural stone, porcelain, gravel, block paving and timber each offer different qualities, and we explain the maintenance and practical implications before a decision is made.
Lincoln is outside our immediate Boston-area base, so travel and scheduling are discussed openly at the enquiry stage. We also consider enquiries from Waddington, Bracebridge, Washingborough and North Hykeham. Browse the Gallery for real examples of our landscaping, read Services for the available options, or use Contact to describe your garden and arrange the next step.

Yes. We produce bespoke garden designs for Lincoln homes and build them with our own landscaping team, from courtyard gardens to large family plots.
How much does garden design cost in Lincoln?
A new patio may start in the low thousands, but a full redesign needs an individual specification. Design and build costs depend on the size and materials, and we quote after a free visit.
Can you work on sloping Lincoln gardens?
Yes — terracing, retaining walls, steps and re-levelling are a core part of what we do, which matters on Lincoln's hillside plots.
Do you plant as well as build?
Yes. Christopher holds an FdSc in Horticulture, so planting plans, soil preparation and aftercare advice are included in the design.
